Rolling in it, indeed!
Adele nabbed six nominations for the 54th Annual Grammy Awards, announced at a live concert Wednesday night -- including recognition in the coveted album of the year, record of the year, and song of the year categories. But the chart-topping British soul singer, 23, actually wasn't the most nominated artist this year-- that honor went to Kanye West, who bested the "Rolling in the Deep" singer with seven nominations overall, split between his solo album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and Watch the Throne, his collaboration with Jay-Z.

Neck-to-neck with Adele were Foo Fighters and Bruno Mars; the rock band and the R&B singer both grabbed six nominations as well. Close behind with four nominations in various categories with indie darling Bon Iver, flamboyant rapper Nicki Minaj, Mumford and Sons and Rihanna.
Although his eponymous 2011 album is his second, Bon Iver was among the nominees in the best new artist category alongside Minaj , The Band Perry, J. Cole and electronic group Skrillex.
