Evernote adds OfficeSuite document editing, improved reminders

Evernote

Evernote users get a one-week free trial of the full OfficeSuite features

Evernote has just introduced a few points of new functionality in its latest app update ranging from document editing to new widget options. First up is a new partnership with popular document editor OfficeSuite, which now lets Evernote users edit documents in their library with the OfficeSuite app. While it does require that the OfficeSuite app be installed separately, you can now fully view and edit office documents and have the changes replace or append documents in Evernote. OfficeSuite is currently $14.99 in the Play Store, but Evernote users get a 1 week free trial to give it a shot first.

Beyond office documents, the latest update makes managing your reminders even easier. Now from the main notes listing, you can add, reorganize and mark reminders as completed without entering a special menu or individual notes. Additionally, the Evernote widget has been improved to add lock screen support, a swipable "list view", quick reminders and even more customizability.

It's a big update that Evernote users are likely to want right away. Grab a download of the latest version from the Play Store link above, or learn more about the features at the source link below.
