Scott T. Petersen is an Animator/Director who has worked for several major studios including, Walt Disney, Warner Brothers, Dreamworks, Universal and Columbia/tri-star. His movie credits include Space Jam, The Iron Giant, Pigglet?s Big Movie,Mickey?s Three Musketeers, The Lion King 1 ? , The Fox and the Hound 2, Tarzan 2, Bah, Humduck! A Looney Tunes Christmas, Kronk?s New Groove, The Prince of Egypt, The Little Mermaid 3 and many others.

Currently, Scott owns and manages his own animation studio called Golden Street Animation Productions, headquartered in Provo, Utah. ?As the Owner of Golden Street Animation, Scott has managed production teams of over 200 artists and technicians on several projects ranging from feature film to corporate videos.? Even though he is a ?hands on? Director and loves to animate himself, his greatest strength is in leading and inspiring his teams to work at the highest level and efficiency.

In addition he has taught animation and drawing at the California institute of the Arts (Cal Arts), in Valencia California for four years and at BYU in Provo Utah for 2 years. Before starting Golden Street Animation Productions, he lived in the Philippines, where he worked with Toon City animation. Originally sent there by Walt Disney studios, he has supervised and trained thousands of artists and while directing production also became head of training and artist development, creating a highly successful training program for beginners and seasoned animators a like. ?He is now compiling those trainings together into a series of DVDs called?Animation and Drawing Excellence? which is available for purchase at?http://animationexcellence.blogspot.com/?. ?He has become an expert on overseas productions and has supervised in Japan, Taiwan/Republic of China, the Philippines, and Mexico as of this writing.
